Description:
At 304 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Hamilton to 6 miles east of Lehman Hot
Springs. Movement was northwest at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Ukiah, Monument, Lehman Hot Springs, Dale, Ritter, and Hamilton.
This includes Highway 395 between mile markers 46 and 89.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM PDT for
central and northeastern Oregon.
