At 143 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12 miles south of Lehman Hot Springs, or 33 miles west of North Powder, moving west at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Dale. This includes Highway 395 between mile markers 63 and 69.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM PDT for central and northeastern Oregon.
