Description:
* WHAT...Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 28 degrees expected.
* WHERE...South Willamette Valley, West Columbia River Gorge of
Oregon above 500 ft, and Clackamas County Cascade Foothills.
* WHEN...From 1 AM to 9 AM PDT Friday.
* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other
sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
plumbing.
Instruction:
To prevent water pipes from freezing; wrap or drain or allow them to
drip slowly.
Take steps now to protect tender outdoor plants from the cold.
Consider temporarily moving outdoor potted plants indoors if they
are sensitive to cold temperatures.
