* WHAT...For the Blowing Dust Advisory, visibility between one-quarter and one mile in blowing dust. For the Wind Advisory, west winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected. * WHERE...For the Blowing Dust Advisory, areas northeast of Summer Lake, including parts of Highway 20 in northeast Lake County. For the Wind Advisory, Central and Eastern Lake County, including the communities of Fort Rock, Silver Lake, Summer Lake, Paisley, Valley Falls, Lakeview, and Adel. Parts of highways 31, 395, and 140 may be affected. * WHEN...Until 9 PM PDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Hazardous driving conditions due to reduced visibility. Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few power outages may result.
Instruction: 
Visibilities to near zero is possible. If you encounter blowing dust or blowing sand on the roadway or see it approaching, pull off the road as far as possible and put your vehicle in park. Turn the lights all the way off and keep foot off the brake pedal. Remember, 'Pull Aside, Stay Alive'. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Secure light outdoor objects like tents or empty trash bins.
