At 522 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 5 miles northeast of Hinton, moving east at 5 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Hinton, Calumet, and Cedar Lake. This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 102 and 117.
