Description:
At 732 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 5
miles north of Kaw Lake, moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Newkirk, Kaw City, northern Kaw Lake, and Hardy.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
