Description:
At 707 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 3 miles south of Winfield to 7 miles east of
Arkansas City to 5 miles west of Hardy. Movement was northeast at 35
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Newkirk, Chilocco, Hardy, and northern Kaw Lake.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
