At 750 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Ponca City, moving southeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...A 60 mph wind gust was reported at the Ponca City Airport at 742 PM. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Ponca City, Blackwell, Tonkawa, Newkirk, Kaw City, Marland, Kildare, Kaw Lake, and Peckham.
