Northeastern Cotton County in southwestern Oklahoma... * Until 1030 PM CDT. * At 940 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 5 miles southwest of Sterling to 11 miles southeast of Lawton to 3 miles southwest of Geronimo, moving southeast at 15 mph. THESE ARE DESTRUCTIVE STORMS FOR LOCATIONS IN AND SOUTHEAST OF LAWTON. HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts and golf ball size hail. SOURCE...Broadcast media. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles.
