Description:
At 856 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 6 miles west of Velma to 4 miles northeast of Corum to
6 miles northeast of Walters, moving southeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Tennis ball size hail is possible with the storm near
Empire City, and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Duncan, Walters, Waurika, Healdton, Comanche, Ringling, Temple,
Velma, Hastings, Loco, Addington, Waurika Lake, Corum, Empire City,
Cornish, and Hulen.
Instruction:
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms.

building.
