Description:
At 737 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Lake Ellsworth to 5 miles west of Rush Springs to
3 miles southeast of Bradley, moving south at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Elgin, Apache, Rush Springs, Fletcher, Cyril, Sterling, Alex, Cement,
Bradley, Agawam, Lake Ellsworth, northeastern Fort Sill, Ninnekah,
Acme, and Cox City.
Instruction:
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
