Description:
At 236 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Proctorville, moving east at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Huntington, Proctorville, Barboursville, Athalia, Green Bottom, and
Pea Ridge.
This includes Interstate 64 in West Virginia between mile markers 10
and 22.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
