Description:
At 1251 AM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Troy to Trotwood, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Dayton, Springfield, Beavercreek, Huber Heights, Fairborn, Troy,
Trotwood, Vandalia, Englewood, Urbana, Tipp City, New Carlisle,
Yellow Springs, Wright-Patterson AFB, Northridge, Cedarville, Enon,
St. Paris, Brown, and Riverside.
This includes the following Interstates...
I-70 in Ohio between mile markers 27 and 57.
I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 52 and 71.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 400 AM EDT for
west central Ohio.
