At 237 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Newton Falls, or 8 miles east of Ravenna, moving northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. This storm is exhibiting weak rotation. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Youngstown, Warren, Niles, Hubbard, Cortland, Newton Falls, Lordstown, Kinsman, Vienna Center, Hilltop, Maplewood Park, Bristolville, Leavittsburg, Austintown, Girard, Vienna, McDonald, Mecca, Windham, and Johnston.
