Description:
At 1222 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Bluffton to near Belle Center to near Troy,
moving east at 55 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.
Locations impacted include...
Troy, Sidney, Piqua, Bellefontaine, Tipp City, Kenton, Ada, West
Milton, St. Paris, Jackson Center, Russells Point, De Graff,
Lakeview, Dunkirk, Alger, Waynesfield, Belle Center, Chippewa Park,
Union, and Northwood.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 66 and 96.
Instruction:
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
