Description:
At 618 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 15 miles north of North Kingsville to 7 miles
northwest of Fairport Harbor. Movement was east at 65 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Erie, Ashtabula, Conneaut, Geneva-On-The-Lake, Edinboro, Geneva,
North East, Girard, North Kingsville, Waterford, Albion, Wattsburg,
Northwest Harborcreek, Harborcreek, Lawrence Park, Wesleyville, Lake
City, Austinburg, Kingsville, and Hartsgrove.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Strong
winds may occur of heavy rain with these thunderstorms. Do not wait
to take shelter in a substantial structure!
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM EDT for
northeastern Ohio...and northwestern Pennsylvania.
