...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers...
Great Miami River at Miamitown.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Great Miami River at Miamitown.
* WHEN...Until early Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Water approaches cottages along East Miami
River Road in Miami Township south of Miamitown.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:45 PM EDT Saturday the stage was 16.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.4
feet Sunday morning. It will then fall below flood stage late
Sunday evening.
- Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
