At 842 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles northwest of Belcourt, or 25 miles east of Bottineau, moving northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Rolla, Dunseith, St. John, Belcourt, International Peace Garden, Shell Valley, Turtle Mountain and Thorne.
Instruction: 
Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing widespread damaging winds. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1200 AM CDT for a portion of north central North Dakota.
