Description: 
At 715 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from near Lansford to near Butte, or along a line from 30 miles north of Minot to 33 miles west of Harvey, moving northeast at 55 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Velva, Mohall, Towner, Glenburn, Lansford, Granville, Upham, Newburg, Deering, Maxbass, Denbigh, Karlsruhe, Norwich, Voltaire, Russell, Kramer, Balfour, Bantry, Kief and Bergen.
Instruction: 
Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. These storms are capable of producing widespread damaging winds and large hail. Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built structure. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1200 AM CDT for a portion of north central North Dakota.
