Central Sioux County in south central North Dakota...
* Until 730 PM CDT /630 PM MDT/.
* At 657 PM CDT /557 PM MDT/, severe thunderstorms were located along
a line from 14 miles north of Flasher to 16 miles southwest of
Shields, or along a line from 21 miles southwest of Mandan to 54
miles west of Linton, moving northeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Flasher, Solen, Shields, St. Anthony, Lark, Raleigh, Porcupine, St.
Gertrude, Breien, Standing Rock and Fish Creek Dam.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds and
large hail.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1200 AM CDT /1100 PM MDT/ for
a portion of south central North Dakota.
