Northeastern McLean County in south central North Dakota... * Until 745 PM CDT. * At 652 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from near Minot to 8 miles south of Ruso City, or along a line from near Minot to 22 miles east of Garrison, moving northeast at 55 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and ping pong ball size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. * Locations impacted include... Velva, Mohall, Turtle Lake, Towner, Glenburn, Lansford, Granville, Upham, Newburg, Deering, Mercer, Maxbass, Denbigh, Karlsruhe, Butte, Benedict, Ruso City, Norwich, Voltaire and Russell.
