...FIRE WEATHER WATCH FOR WESTERN AND MOST OF CENTRAL NORTH DAKOTA MONDAY... .Critical fire weather conditions are likely across western and most of central North Dakota Monday. Southerly winds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph will shift to the northwest in the afternoon and evening, initially in western and then central North Dakota. Relative humidity values will drop to as low as 15 percent. There is a low chance for isolated showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and early evening over the north central, which could cause stronger erratic wind gusts. Any fires that ignite could spread rapidly and become difficult to control. The National Weather Service in Bismarck has issued a Fire Weather Watch for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect late Monday morning through Monday evening. * WINDS...South 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph, switching to the northwest in the afternoon and evening. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 15 percent. * AFFECTED AREA...Western and most of central North Dakota. * IMPACTS...Any fires that ignite will spread rapidly and become difficult to control or suppress.
