At 620 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking rapidly developing thunderstorms from Wilson to 15 miles northwest of Farmville, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Wilson, Elm City, Pinetops, Lucama, Stantonsburg, Black Creek, Macclesfield, Saratoga, Willbanks, and New Hope. This includes the following highways... Interstate 95 near Mile Marker 119. NC Highway 264 between Mile Markers 43 and 56.
