Description:
At 1249 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Lisbon, or near Elizabethtown, moving southeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. Torrential rainfall is also
occurring with this storm and may lead to localized
flooding.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Elizabethtown, Carvers, Bladen Community College, Abbottsburg,
Lisbon, Lagoon, Elkton, Council, Emerson, Ruskin, Clarkton, White
Lake, Dublin, and Bladen County Hospital.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Do not
drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
