Description:
At 424 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Hallsboro, or 8 miles east of Whiteville, moving northeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Lake Waccamaw around 430 PM EDT.
Council around 435 PM EDT.
Sandyfield and Kelly around 450 PM EDT.
Other locations impacted by this storm include Bolton and East
Arcadia.
Instruction:
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
