At 306 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6 miles south of Downtown Asheville, or near Skyland, moving east at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Arden, Fletcher, Fairview In Buncombe County, Biltmore Forest, Bent Creek, Asheville Airport, B.R. Parkway-Nc Arboretum To East Asheville, Skyland, B.R. Parkway-Mount Pisgah To The Nc Arboretum, and East Asheville.
