Description:
At 139 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Durham to near Raleigh. Movement was
northeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Raleigh, Durham, Creedmoor, Louisburg, Wake Forest, Butner,
Franklinton, Rolesville, Youngsville, and Stem.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 85 between Mile Markers 177 and 202.
Interstate 440 between Mile Markers 8 and 11.
Interstate 540 between Mile Markers 2 and 19.
