Description: 
At 348 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7 miles northwest of Linwood, or 7 miles west of Lexington, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... High Point, Lexington, Thomasville, Linwood, Archdale, Trinity, Denton, Gordontown, Randleman Regional Reservior Marina, and High Rock Lake. This includes the following highways... Interstate 85 between Mile Markers 84 and 112.
