...The Flood Advisory continues for the French Broad River Near at Old Fanning Bridge Rd, 3 W Fletcher, affecting Henderson and Buncombe Counties... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive runoff continues, but high water conditions will recede throughout the afternoon. * WHERE...French Broad River near at Old Fanning Bridge Rd, 3 W Fletcher. * WHEN...Until just after midnight tonight. * IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Action/Advisory Stage. Isolated farmland flooding is occurring across the French Broad River Valley from Etowah downstream to Avery Creek upstream of the gauge site. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 AM EDT Tuesday the stage was 10.9 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 6.5 feet Sunday morning. - Action stage is 10.0 feet. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
