* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive runoff continues. * WHERE...A portion of Henderson County in western North Carolina. * WHEN...Until 200 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 940 AM EDT, River gauges along Mud Creek were showing that the creek had crested and levels will be slowly falling into this afternoon. Lingering flooding of low-lying areas along Mud Creek and select tributaries, as well as lingering high water conditions in portions of Hendersonville will recede this afternoon. - Some locations that may experience lingering flooding include... Hendersonville, Mills River, Fletcher, Flat Rock, Mountain Home, Laurel Park, Valley Hill, Dana, East Flat Rock, Edneyville and Horse Shoe. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
