Description: 
At 848 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Danville to near Groton to near Starksboro to near Hague. Movement was east at 45 mph. HAZARD...Outflow driven wind gusts up to 50 mph and embedded hail up to a half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Barre, Rutland, Montpelier, Port Henry, Lyndon, St. Johnsbury, Woodstock, Middlebury, Vergennes, Braintree Hill, Killington, Waterbury Village, Websterville, Orwell, Worcester, Middlesex, Marshfield, Ira, Cabot Village, and Mount Holly. This includes the following highways... Interstate 87 between mile markers 82 and 85, and near mile marker 95. Interstate 89 between mile markers 3 and 64. Interstate 91 between mile markers 76 and 78, between mile markers 82 and 91, between mile markers 97 and 121, and between mile markers 123 and 139. Interstate 93 between mile markers 1 and 11.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
