* AFFECTED AREA...Portions of northern New York and central, northwest and southern Vermont. * WINDS...South 15 to 25 mph with gusts 30 to 40 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 22 to 28 percent. * TEMPERATURES...57 to 62 degrees. * FUELS...Per coordination with our partners, the recent dry weather has caused fine dead fuels across the region to dry out. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The warmest temperatures, lowest humidities and strongest winds will occur between 1 PM and 5 PM Thursday for most locations. Some stronger gusts in the northern Champlain Valley may linger into the evening hours. * IMPACTS...If any fires were to start the weather and fuel conditions could cause fires to quickly get out of control and be difficult to contain.
