* WHAT...Heat index values up to 98 expected. * WHERE...In New York, Eastern Clinton and Eastern Essex Counties. In Vermont, Western Addison, Grand Isle, Western Chittenden, Western Franklin, and Western Rutland Counties. * WHEN...From noon to 8 PM EDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...This will be the third of a series of increasingly warm and humid days, resulting in accumulated heat stress. Impacts may be greater early in the season when we are less acclimated to the heat.
Instruction: 
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
