Description:
At 834 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of gusty showers
and a few strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near
Hague to 10 miles northeast of Ohio. Movement was east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts 30 to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Warrensburg, Whitehall, Speculator, Lake George Village, Johnsburg,
Lake Pleasant, Hague, Wells, Comstock, Day Center, Bolton Landing,
Moffitt Beach Campground, Rogers Rock Campground, Lake Luzerne
Campground, Chestertown, North Creek, Sacandaga Campground, Huletts
Landing, Poultney Village, and Lake Luzerne-Hadley.
People attending Americade 2026 should seek safe shelter immediately!
This includes Interstate 87 between exits 20 and 26.
