At 631 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Hopkinton to near Rossie. Movement was southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Richville, Gouverneur Village, Tupper Lake Village, Hermon Village, Tupper Lake, Piercefield, Clifton, Russell, Hopkinton, Clare, Gouverneur, Colton, Hermon, Rossie, Fowler, Pitcairn, Edwards, Fine, Macomb, and Pierrepont.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until these storms pass.
