Description:
At 713 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Harrietstown,
moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Law enforcement. At 634 PM downed trees were reported in
Cranberry Lake.
IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is possible. Expect wind
damage to trees and powerlines.

Saranac Lake, Lake Placid, Tupper Lake Village, North Elba, St
Armand, Harrietstown, Tupper Lake, Newcomb, Wilmington, Keene, North
Hudson, Santa Clara, Saranac Inn, Ray Brook, Lake Colby, Wawbeek,
Mount Marcy, Lake Clear, Mount Van Hoevenberg, and Tahawus.
Instruction:
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
