Description: 
* Affected Area...Portions of the Hudson Valley FDRA including the following counties: eastern Montgomery, Schenectady, extreme northeastern Schoharie, Albany, Rensselaer, eastern Greene, Columbia, eastern Ulster, Dutchess, and much of Sullivan County. * Timing...From noon to 7 PM Tuesday, with the lowest RH and strongest wind gusts during the mid to late afternoon. * Winds...Southwest at 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 to 40 mph. * Relative Humidity...As low as 25 to 30 percent. * Temperatures...In the upper 70s to low 80s. * Impacts...Any fire that develops will catch and spread quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
