...Observed flooding changed to Minor severity and increased in
duration for the following rivers in New York...
Cayuga Lake At Ithaca affecting Tompkins County.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.
* WHERE...Cayuga Lake at Ithaca.
* WHEN...Until Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 383.5 feet, The lake level is high enough to flood
normally dry areas along the shoreline and may affect some paths,
or roads nearest the shore.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:00 PM EDT Thursday the stage was 383.7 feet, just barely
above the flood stage of 383.5 feet.
- Forecast...The lake is expected to fall below flood stage
sometime Friday morning, and continue very slowly falling to
383.2 feet over the weekend.
- Flood stage is 383.5 feet.

Instruction:
This warning will be in effect until the lake falls below its flood
stage, anticipated to be sometime Friday morning.
