At 834 AM MDT /934 AM CDT/, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain in At 9:20 AM CDT, public reported a vehicle hydroplaned and wrecked 5 miles east of the Texas/New Mexico border on State Route 176. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Hobbs, Andrews, Lovington, Seminole, Eunice, Seagraves, Gaines County Airport, Nadine, Seagraves Airport, Eunice Airport, Humble City, Monument, Paynes Corner, Frankel City, Florey, Gaines County Park, Higginbotham, Andrews County Airport, Knowles and Lea County Regional Airport.
