Description:
At 700 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong outflow boundary
extending from 10 miles south of Grady to near House, moving south at
45 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Clovis, Melrose, House, Saint Vrain, Ranchvale, Cannon Air Force
Base, Oasis State Park, Tolar, Floyd and Portair.
This includes Highway 60 between Mile Markers 344 and 396.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
Blowing dust associated with strong thunderstorm winds can reduce
visibility below one quarter mile at times.
