Description: 
At 300 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Tinnie, or 24 miles east of Ruidoso, moving northeast at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Hail may accumulate on roadways causing hazardous travel. Locations impacted include... Tinnie, Hondo, San Patricio and Sunset. This includes Highway 380 between Mile Markers 103 and 107.

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening weather conditions. Motorists can expect brief but sudden changes in visibility and ponding of water on roadways as storms move through the area.
