At 231 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Hondo, or 19 miles east of Ruidoso, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Hail may accumulate on roadways causing hazardous travel. Locations impacted include... Tinnie, Hondo and San Patricio. This includes Highway 380 between Mile Markers 103 and 107.
