Description:
At 449 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13
miles east of San Jon, or 30 miles south of Nara Visa, moving north
at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Mainly rural areas of East Central Quay County.
This includes Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 363 and 373.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
Motorists can expect brief but sudden changes in visibility and
ponding of water on roadways as storms move through the area.
