Description:
At 1149 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles southwest of Conchas Lake State Park, or 30 miles west of
Tucumcari, moving west at 5 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Mainly rural areas of Northeastern Guadalupe and South Central San
Miguel Counties.
This includes State Road 104 between Mile Markers 56 and 71.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
