Description:
At 246 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
San Patricio, or 20 miles east of Ruidoso, moving north at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Tinnie, Hondo, San Patricio and Arabela.
This includes Highway 380 between Mile Markers 99 and 107.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
Blowing dust associated with strong thunderstorm winds can reduce
visibility below one quarter mile at times.
