Description:
At 718 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Eldorado At Santa Fe, or 8 miles south of Santa Fe, moving north at
35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Santa Fe, Eldorado At Santa Fe and Agua Fria.
This includes Interstate 25 between Mile Markers 278 and 286.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
Motorists can expect brief but sudden changes in visibility and
ponding of water on roadways as storms move through the area.
