Description:
At 626 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 5
miles northeast of Stanley, or 16 miles northeast of Moriarty, moving
north at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Galisteo.
This includes Highway 285 between Mile Markers 271 and 282.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
