Description: 
At 622 PM MDT, Surface observations and doppler radar indicate gusty winds and developing thunderstorms along and behind a gust front extending from 5 miles east of San Jon to 8 miles northwest of Melrose. The gust front is moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Surface observations. A 57 mph gust was observed at Tucumcari Municipal Airport at 611 PM MDT. IMPACT...Gusty winds along and behind the gust front could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Clovis, San Jon, Grady, Wheatland, Broadview, Bellview, Forrest, Mcalister and Pleasant Hill. This includes Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 342 and 360.
