Description:
At 325 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 5
miles southwest of Texico, or 6 miles southeast of Clovis, moving
southeast at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Clovis and Texico.
This includes Highway 60 between Mile Markers 390 and 397.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
