Description:
At 219 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 15
miles southeast of Springer, moving northeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible. Hail may accumulate on roadways causing hazardous
travel.
Locations impacted include...
Mainly rural areas of Northeastern Mora, Northwestern Harding and
South Central Colfax Counties.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
